The Meeting
We met and were friends almost instantly. The day was March 23rd, 1995. Jonna joined the same dart league Brett was playing on at The Abbey Road Bar and Grill in Delray Beach. The eleven week season sealed their fate as they grew closer and closer each week. It was a classic case of opposites attract, although it didn't take long for them to find out that they were perfect compliments of each other.

The Proposal
Exactly one year later, we found ourselves back at Abbey Road for an anniversary celebration. Talk of an engagement was in the air, but no hints were given at dinner. After we returned to Brett's apartment in Delray Beach, the surprise was revealed on one knee and in the tradition that would make any girl's heart skip a beat. Jonna said yes without hesitation and accepted the ring passed down through Brett's family. Wedding plans began for one year later.
